You can make your own fabulous raven masquerade costume for fractions upon fractions of what you'd have to pay for one in a specialty costume shop. I added a boa and feathers onto long black gloves, onto some fabric, and spruced up a cheap 99 cent store mask. It's so rewarding to make your own costume.

You can start saving egg cartons to make this inexpensive holiday wreath. If you want your wreath to be larger, you'll need more cartons. This is an example of a wreath made with just 1 carton. Overall, it is an inexpensive project with materials/supplies you may even already have!

Marble Painted Paper Spider Web
By tiffanytallent1981
Most kids are fascinated by insects and enjoy learning about them. Some may be more reluctant to get close, while others can't wait to. Spiders are technically considered to be arachnids and not insects, and students love to learn that too. I still include spiders in my spring insect theme, as well as during Halloween.

It's fun to have lots of skulls around for Halloween decorations, so why not make your own? Using empty one-gallon plastic milk, water, or juice jugs makes it super cheap. Please do this craft outside with a mask on.

I'm always looking for new craft and decorating ideas, especially for October through December. I came across bottle cap pumpkins on Pinterest and decided to make a variation. They were simple to complete and even children could do everything except hot glue the pieces.

By 15mhhm15
Last year, I made a shark jacket costume. Fast forward to this new year, I was able to revamp the shark costume to suit my toddler. She wants to be a shark for Halloween inspired by her current favorite song Baby Shark.

Sunflowers are so beautiful and are a popular fall decoration. I like to incorporate at least one sunflower craft into the classroom. This wall decor piece takes a couple days to complete, but it's perfect for this time of year. The students really seem to enjoy it.
