Our persuasive story approach teaches media professionals how to produce creative media that enables people to understand all their choices and the consequences of those choices. At this moment our trainers are giving tailor-made trainings in South Sudan, China, Ukraine & Nepal. South Sudan Shaun Matsheza gives a 4 day course for SUTCO (Support the Children Organisation). The 20 course participants will learn how credible and truthful media stories can enforce entrepreneurship and empower young, ambitious people to lead their conflict affected society into prosperity. Nepal Ginger da Silva & Jonathan Groubert are giving a 3 week training to 20 journalists from Radio Nepal on the theme of Food Security. Broadcasters from Radio Nepal are experiencing problems with Food Security first hand since transport is limited due to the fuel crisis and they are eager to learn the style and approach - not just giving information but telling informative, persuasive stories. China Brandon Oelofse is in Beijing at the moment, delivering a state of the art media training for The Research Training Institute (RTI). This course is organised in cooperation with Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD). Ukraine Turan Ali, director of RNTC, is giving a 2 week training to the former State Broadcaster ‘National Television Company (NTU), helping them to innovate and re-design their programmes and put creativity, persuasive storytelling and new formats at the heart of their work. |
