I’m all for innovative, safe and science-backed ways to treat COVID. A few weeks ago, it appeared that we might have a decent new option: A recent study on cannabis and COVID created a lot of buzz, with headlines suggesting that weed may help prevent or treat coronavirus infections.
But beware before you celebrate. Reporter Julia Ries looked into the research further and spoke with experts on whether the findings really are the miracle we’re hoping for.
