Last year, the Fogarty International Center and seven partner Institutes and Centers at NIH requested input onapproaches NIH might take to promote greater equity in global health researchconducted in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). In the interest of transparency and public dissemination, NIH has produced a report on the responses. It is a broad summary which will also be used by NIH to identify possible next steps and actions for consideration. The content of this report reflects the views and ideas of the respondents to the RFI, and does not represent the views of the NIH, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), or the U.S. government.
