NATIONAL: Artist Demi Lovato will host the 2020 E! People's Choice Awards, taking place live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., on Nov. 15. The show will be produced by Den of Thieves executive producers Jesse Ignjatovic, Evan Prager, and Barb Bialkowski.

International event firm Clarion Events has acquired California-based Quartz Events, which specializes in executive summits throughout North America. The acquisition will allow Clarion to expand its guaranteed meetings program by building both online and in-person communities. Quartz will continue with its current organizational structure and team.

LAS VEGAS: Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa has announced Merry Crimson, a pop-up holiday bar that will feature a themed cocktail list, live DJ performances, private cabanas, and fire pits. The festive indoor/outdoor poolside lounge will run from Nov. 27 to Jan 3. Guests can book a reservation, table, or cabana in advance on the resort's website.

LOS ANGELES: Snow effects company MagicSnow has debuted a "Snowmen-To-Go" package that includes delivery and installation of two snowmen perched on top of fresh powder snow. The fun offering is meant to be a safe outdoor experience for photo ops, socially distanced events, and more. It debuts in select Los Angeles neighborhoods starting Nov. 14, with plans to expand throughout Southern California and Las Vegas.

TALLAHASSEE, FLA: The Council on Culture & Arts (COCA) has announced that Photofest 2020 is taking place now through Jan. 25, 2021, at the Artport Gallery, located in the Tallahassee International Airport. The fine art photography exhibition features work by 30 local artists, selected by a volunteer jury. All images can also be viewed in COCA's online gallery.
