Broker Kurt Rappaport counts billionaires and celebrities among his clients and feels that for the highest market segment in real estate, lowering commissions is not the path to success. "You get paid for whether you win or lose, whether you get the result," he says. "You can always find someone who will charge less, but will they get it done?"

In a further example of the divided forecast for the Federal Reserve's rate policy, Morgan Stanley has predicted significant rate cuts starting in mid-2024 due to cooling inflation, while Goldman Sachs foresees fewer and later reductions, aligning more closely with the Fed's own projections. The differing outlooks reflect varying assessments of economic strength, with Morgan Stanley anticipating a weaker US economy requiring more aggressive easing, and Goldman Sachs expecting sustained higher rates due to a stronger economic landscape.

Some Instagram users can now respond to Notes with audio clips, GIFs, photos, stickers and videos and create in-stream chat groups around an event, as part of a test. Instagram also seems to be developing a geography-based "Nearby" feed for Stories, and is testing a feed that delivers Stories updates only from users that follow each other.
