Good morning, Marketer, remember: If you can’t handle the heat, make lemonade. 

On a trip to Florida I got lost thanks to Google maps and it was exactly what I needed. It wasn’t Google’s fault, of course. I didn’t notice an autocorrect and entered the wrong address. I wound up driving along back roads, far away from highways and malls, past a diner advertising “fresh chicken gizzards” and along several alligator-filled swamps. 

By the time I got to where I didn’t want to go I was relaxed and happy. What does this have to do with marketing? Artificial intelligence isn’t the answer to everything. It has no meander option. It doesn’t understand serendipity. For that, we need you.
