Ambassador acknowledges saying Ukraine aid depended on support for probes

Gordon Sondland, the U.S. envoy to the European Union, revised his previous testimony. His earlier deposition was contradicted by other witnesses. A full transcript has now been released. 
 
Gophers football coach Fleck inks 7-year extension
The University of Minnesota said Tuesday it  extended the contract of football coach P.J. Fleck, ensuring he’ll stay under contract to lead the team through the 2026 season.

Uprooted: The 1950's plan to erase Indian Country
In the 1950s, the United States government came up with a plan to solve what it called the "Indian problem." It would assimilate Native Americans by moving them to cities and eliminating reservations. The 20-year campaign failed to destroy Native cultures and tribal sovereignty, but its impact is still felt today. 
U of M says Sanders is on the hook for rally cost
The University of Minnesota expects Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign to cover the cost of a rally held at Williams Arena earlier this week. That’s different from a rally President Trump held in Minneapolis last month.
