Super Round Melbourne to Showcase Rebels New and Local Talent
Super Round in Melbourne has finally arrived, with the Rebels announcing their match day 23 for their Friday night clash with the Western Force on home soil.
Rebels Head Coach, Kevin Foote, has made five changes to this week’s Starting XV, including seeing 51 Test Wallaby Taniela Tupou and hooker Alex Mafi move to the starting front row. After bringing spark off the bench last week James Tuttle will get his first start for the ‘24 season at scrum half while Matt Proctor makes his debut for the Melbourne Super Rugby side in the number 13 jersey, with Filipo Daugunu shifting to the wing.
Follow alongs as the boys prep for their Super Round Clash against the Western Force this Friday. AAMI Park will host all six Super Rugby Pacific fixtures across an action-packed weekend.
Rebels Super W squad to take on the Force at Moorabbin
The Melbourne Rebels Super Rugby Women's Team have confirmed their side for Saturday's trial against the Western Force. Both teams head to local club Moorabbin Rugby Union Club for the hit out.
In what will be a rugby fanatic’s dream weekend, all 12 Super Rugby Pacific teams head to Melbourne for six epic games over the three-day event.
The Rebels will be bringing their fast and fearless style of rugby to their Friday night clash with the Western Force on home soil.
Friday also plays host to the Highlanders taking to AAMI Park against the Blues. On Saturday, watch the clash of the Pacific giants Moana and Drua on Pasifika Day, followed by the 2023 champs, Crusaders, taking on the Waratahs. Sunday heats up with the Chiefs challenging the Brumbies, while the Hurricanes face the Queensland Reds.
