Play your role to make Victorian roads safer on Saturday, 22 June.
When it comes to road safety, we’re all on the same team, so play your role and band together for TAC, Melbourne Rebels and Rugby Victoria’s Road Safety Round.
Taking place on Saturday, 22 June, Road Safety Round will see Rugby Victoria clubs and members of the wider rugby community take to the field wearing a blue armband. These bands serve as a reminder that we all have a responsibility to drive safely and are in honour of every life lost on the road.
Everyone has a reason for wanting safer roads. We want to hear yours. Record your story, share it on your socials using #TACBandTogether. Let’s band together for safer roads and look out for one another on and off the field.
To play your role, collect an armband from your local rugby club, and remember, we all have someone to drive safely for.
Filipo Daugunu has taken home the coveted Player’s Player award at the Melbourne Rebels 2024 Awards Night, alongside Super Rugby Women’s player Jayme Nuku.
Voted by their teammates as the most influential and best-performing player week in and week out, the award is an exciting one for Filipo Daugunu in his first year playing for the Rebels, making an impact immediately on the playing group, impressing with his hard carries and ability to turnover the ball in contact.
