The Melbourne Rebels produced another AAMI Park classic, with a comeback win over the Western Force in front of an exhilarated Day 1 Super Round Melbourne crowd.

Led by a dominant pack, giving go-forward ball at each set piece and pressure at the breakdown the Rebels backline were given the opportunity to shine with ball in hand.

A brace of tries to trio Carter Gordon, Filipo Daugunu and fullback Andrew Kellaway who opened the scoring, demonstrated the fire power that the Rebels possess when the opportunities arise.
