A long way from home: Heartfelt reunion between pet and owner

Losing a pet is devastating to put it mildly. But after enough time passes, we all tend to move on from tragedy in our own ways. Well, one woman from Boca Raton, Florida continued to hold out hope that her runaway dog Dutchess would return to her some day. The dog had managed to escape back in 2007, but in a miraculous twist, was discovered thousands of miles away in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2019. The dog had managed to survive and stay healthy all these years, and when Dutchess was reunited with her owner, she immediately recognized her long-lost friend. Now that’s what you call a family reunion!
