Recapping 2023, in business

The top business story of the year in Acadiana business is an overarching one.

It's jobs coming to the region. Lots of them, specifically the First Solar project in Iberia Parish that will create about 700 jobs, was the big story of the year. There was also the Delta Biofuels project near Jeanerette that will create over 100 jobs. Others in the area announced to add more jobs.

Now to the question for next year: In this area of historically low unemployment, who is going to fill those jobs?
