U.S. Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Ben Cardin (D-MD) introduced the Home Health Care Planning Improvement Act (S. 445) that would allow non-physician practitioners to order home health services for Medicare beneficiaries.

 

SNF Compare website to launch October 2018

 

During a status update call regarding the Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation Act of 2014 (IMPACT Act) on Thursday, February 23, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that a Skilled Nursing Facility Compare website is on schedule to launch in October of 2018.
