During day two and three of Europort, corporate CEDA members will be presenting the latest innovations in the field of dredging as part of the CEDA Pitch Talks. CEDA is the leading forum for the professional dredging community who represent dredging professionals and organizations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Some of the largest builders and contractors of dredging vessels in the world are based in the Netherlands and Belgium and will be attending Europort in November where they will be sharing their experiences of working in some of the world’s toughest environments.

Smarter, Safer, Greener. Europort exhibitors and partners will pitch their innovations live on stage. Located in the heart of the fairground, the Innovation Stage offers a free access daily program. Each day another industry theme will be top of mind.

Spread over five evenings between 19 October and 2 November YoungShip Rotterdam will bring young maritime professionals together at Shipcon 2021. New this year, an interactive Shipathon will bring young professionals together to compete and solve virtual and live challenges. The final conference session, live pitches and award ceremony for the hackathon element will be live from Europort on November 5.

 The main themes behind the Shipathon challenges are sustainable energy, sustainable shipbuilding and financing sustainable ships. Working alongside YoungShip Rotterdam, Drecht Cities Young Professionals, Young RMSC and STC-group are closely involved in the organisation of the hackathon element.

Because live encounters and face-to-face conversations are essential in business, these physical meetings will remain the key focus during Europort 2021.
