Update from Sarah Spivey Record-challenging heat today, but an overnight cool front will bring noticeable changes🥵➡️🍂 ~Sarah Good morning!The heat is on today as sunny skies and a slightly drier atmosphere will allow for temperatures to climb to near 95 degrees -- a record for the day. There will be a gentle breeze from the southeast at 5-10 mph.Overnight, the first cold front of the season will move through the Alamo City, switching winds around to the north at 10-20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph. As the front moves through, there will be a small chance for isolated showers and storms through the early morning hours.Temperatures will fall into the 60s, and humidity will drop throughout the day. Highs will struggle to get out of the 70s Monday afternoon.As for the rest of the week, temperatures will gradually rise back into the low-90s by Thursday before another cold front sometime Friday drops temperatures again for the weekend.
