Materials Sciences LLC plans next expansion in Greenville

Materials Science LLC, an engineering services and manufacturing company, plans to expand operations in Greenville County for the third time since 2013. The $4.2 million investment is expected to create 34 new jobs, according to a news release from the Greenville Area Development Corporation.

GSP sets new passenger activity record in 2019

More than 2.6 million passengers traveled through Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in 2019, surpassing the previous record of 2.3 million passengers set in 2018. Overall passenger activity increased 12.7%.

Boeing plans another 787 rate cut, dropping to 10 next year

Boeing Co. plans to further cut the production rate of 787 airplanes to 10 per month beginning in early 2021, marking the second quarter in a row that the company has announced a reduction to the program.
