Craig Reucassel here, introducing myself as the new Breakfast host for 2024. Thanks for all the lovely texts during my first shows. I've been told that as part of my breakfast duties, I get to write the intro for the newsletter which I'm thrilled to be doing (even if it wasn't mentioned in the job interview).

Convincing Australians that recycled water — purified water from kitchens, showers and toilets for reuse — is safe to consume hasn't always been easy, but it's being considered again as the pressure grows on water supplies.
