Spiniello wins Italian 200mm Nats finale Posted: 03 Oct 2019 09:08 AM PDT The final round of the Italian 1/10th 200mm Nationals was held at the Vallelunga track last weekend. In the A-main it was Xray’s Mario Spiniello who took the win following a strategic race that saw a conservative first half of the race of Mario, but he would up his pace after a mid-race tyre stop, which allowed him to put pressure on Francesco Tironi (Infinity). Later Mario was able to take the lead, after a hard fought battle with Francesco, that Mario would extend to eleven seconds to take the lead from Tironi 2nd and Mugen’s Massimiliano Pau in 3rd. Overall in the championship it was Tironi with the win in front of Spiniello in 2nd as Occhipinti rounded out the top 3. Yeah Racing M07 Sport conversion kit Posted: 03 Oct 2019 06:53 AM PDT Yeah Racing have introduced their new M07 Sport conversion kit, based off of the recently announced Competition chassis conversion kit. The more walled-friendly conversion kit for Tamiya’s M07, swaps the standard plastic decks to nylon plates and providing the owner with a vast amount of options for suspension setups. The chassis conversion allows for 210mm, 225mm and 239mm wheelbases settings, allowing to use virtually any M-chassis class body shell. The kit also enables the user to use standard or bumper-mounted front body posts which further expands the body shell options. The kit includes high-quality fibre-reinforced chassis and shock tower parts as well as black anodised aluminium optionals. Huber & Marzini win at Swiss EP On-road Nats finale Posted: 03 Oct 2019 06:39 AM PDT The final round of the Swiss Electric On-road Nationals was held at the Schaffhausen track recently. In the Touring Pro Stock class it was Nuno Huber with the overall TQ after the qualifiers and also the wins in all three A-main events. Michael Koch came in 2nd from Luigi Manzo in 3rd. Over in the Formula class it was Fabio Marzini with the TQ and win, leaving behind Michael Wuest in 2nd from Giacomo Moretti 3rd. With the win, Fabio also secured himself the overall Formula title. ARC R8 series 2.4 FDR upgrade kit Posted: 03 Oct 2019 04:41 AM PDT Coming soon from ARC is the 2.4 FDR upgrade kit for the R8.0 to R8.2 1/8th scale on-road kits. The set helps to convert the FDR from the original 2.3 (20/46T) to 2.4 (20/48T), which will result in increased acceleration and torque. In Sportsman Nitro Buggy it was Mugen’s Michael Kuntz with the overall TQ and win, leaving behind Dennis Allison in 2nd. Luke Demming in 3rd would round out the all-Mugen podium. MST MS-01D re-release RTR drift car Posted: 03 Oct 2019 02:38 AM PDT MST have announced the re-release of their popular MS-01D ready-to-run drift car. Discontinued for about three years, the 4WD front-mid motor chassis now again makes an appearance, decked out with MST’s own JZ3 and EG6 body shells. The car features an independent multi-link type double A-arm suspension, front diff and rear spool 4WD drivetrain, fluid-filled shock absorbers and a moulded chassis with an air duct system for efficient cooling of the brushed motor. Includes in the set also come a waterproof Hobbywing speed controller and a Futaba steering servo. The JZ3 and EG6 bodies are available in different colours in gluing red, blue, black and white. Adrean Zavala wins at Mexican GT Nationals Rd5 Posted: 03 Oct 2019 12:43 AM PDT The Pista Radio Control track of Queretaro, Mexico played host to round 5 of the Mexican On-road Nationals recently. SWorkz’s Adrean Zavala was in control of things in the 30-minute GT class A-main event, as he brought home the win some three laps in front of Xray’s Carlos Preciado in 2nd. In 1/8th GT it was Vishal Singh with the overall TQ and he would also bring home the win in the 30-minute A-main event, leaving behind Tim Kristl II in 2nd, some 3.3 seconds behind. Avid B74 -2mm carbon fibre rear shock tower Posted: 02 Oct 2019 01:44 PM PDT Made for the Team Associated B74 4WD buggy is Avid’s new -2mm carbon fibre rear shock tower. The shock stay is made from 100 percent carbon fibre and designed to limit the shock up travel to keep the dogbone from hitting the outdrives. The tower is machined from 4.0mm thick material, it maintains the stock shock angles and it has two small drill holes under the centre hole of the wing mount for notification.
