The all new Pro multi tip tire punch features a new cantilever design to increase punch pressure and reduce hand fatigue. The redesigned handle has plastic cover on the lower handle to more comfortably fit any hand. The multi tip rotating head offers sizes from 2mm to 4.5mm and has a convenient waste box for the discarded rubber. Ryan Maifield wins at JBRL Nitro Series Rd7 Posted: 07 Oct 2019 08:27 AM PDT Round 7 of the JBRL Nitro Series was held at the Pro-Line Raceway in Banning, California this past weekend. The event attracted over 160 entries and in the Expert Buggy A-main it was Tekno RC’s Carlos Arredondo with the overall TQ. The joy wouldn’t last long though as Carlos scored a DNF, allowing 2nd place qualifier, Mugen’s Ryan Maifield to take the win a narrow 1.8 seconds in front of fellow Mugen racer, Adam Drake. Patrick Danielsen wins at Danish EP On-road opener Posted: 07 Oct 2019 07:36 AM PDT The Aalborg RC Center hosted the opening round of the Danish Electric On-road Nationals this past weekend. The event was held in several 1/10th on-road classes and in Touring Modified it was Xray’s Patrick Danielsen with the overall TQ after winning all three qualifying rounds. Yokomo’s Frederik Hovgaard had to settle for 2nd overall as Mike Hansen, Morten Iversen and Mad Koue were all tie on points for the 3rd place with the better tie breaker handing Mike P3 on the grid. The finals then saw Patrick, Frederik and Schumacher’s Mike Hansen conserve their positions in all three A-mains, meaning the three ended the day as they qualified. Toni Santana wins at Spanish GT8 finale Posted: 07 Oct 2019 07:12 AM PDT The final round of the Spanish GT Championship was held at the Automodelismo Autet club in the three classes of SGT, GTE and GTSerie. The latter saw Toni Santana taking the overall TQ from Alexis Rodriguez, and Toni would be able to conserve his momentum in the 45-minute A-main event, taking the win with a 1-lap margin from David Rebollo in 2nd and Borja Gutarra in 3rd. Silvio Hächler wins at Autumn Trophy Posted: 07 Oct 2019 06:50 AM PDT The Autumn Trophy was held at the Pista Leno track in Leno, Italy this past weekend, attracting many of the country’s swift nitro on-road racers of which some used the track time to prepare for the forthcoming IFMAR 1/8th Nitro On-road Worlds in California. In said class it was Switzerland’s Silvio Hächler (ARC) who would be able to walk away with the silverware in the 45-minute A-main event, leaving behind Infinity’s Francesco Tironi in 2nd while Capricorn’s Mirko Salemi came in 3rd to round out the top 3 podium result. Joe Bornhorst sweeps 2019 Pro-Line Shootout Posted: 07 Oct 2019 06:03 AM PDT Thornhill Racing Circuit of Hutto, Texas hosted the 2019 Pro-Line Shootout this past weekend with nearly 200 entries making for a competitive event. In the premier Open Nitro Buggy A-main it was 3rd place qualifier, Tekno RC’s Joe Bornhorst with the overall win in the 45-minute A-main event as top qualifier, Dillon Caldwell (HB Racing) followed on the runner-up spot. 2nd place qualifier, Xray’s Ethan Lefebvre came in 3rd to round out the podium. Over in Open E-Buggy it was Serpent’s Brandon Rose with the overall TQ but again it was Joe Bornhorst, coming from the 2 spot on the grid, with the overall win from Dillon Caldwell in 2nd and Brandon Rose in 3rd, the latter two ending tie on points after the double A-mains with Dillon holding the upper hand after the tie-breaker. Xray Racing Series Slovakia – Announcement Posted: 07 Oct 2019 05:48 AM PDT Xray have announced full details of the 2019/20 Xray Racing Series Slovakia that will kick off on the 12th of October at the Hudy Racing Arena in Trencin. The 6-race series will be held in all major electric on-road and off-road classes, including Touring Modified, Touring Stock, FWD, Pan Car, Buggy and Truck, and full details can be found here. Carsten Keller doubles at MesseCup Leipzig Posted: 07 Oct 2019 05:22 AM PDT The 2019 MesseCup Leipzig was held as part of the Modell Hobby Spiel fair in Leipzig, Germany last week. The event was held in a multitude of classes and in 1/8th Nitro Buggy it was Mugen’s Carsten Keller with the overall win from Mugen teammate, Aaron Rönick in 2nd. Philipp Lütgert (Kyosho) came in 3rd to round out the podium from Sebastian Winterstein (Mugen) and Stev Krause (Kyosho) in 4th and 5th respectively. Over in 1/8th E-Buggy it was again Carsten Keller with the overall win as Philipp Lütgert scored another overall runner-up spot. Maik Radsch (HB Racing), Thomas Musial (Serpent) and Jonas Bauer (HoBao) completed the top 5. In the Nitro Truggy class it was young Sophie Müller (SWorkz) who would take the day’s win, leaving behind Stev Krause in 2nd and Sascha Nelson in 3rd. The Agama duo of Christopher-Toni Beer and Jörn Ringel completed the top 5 results. Posted: 07 Oct 2019 04:43 AM PDT The Ohio RC Factory of Jeffersonville, Ohio played host to the 6th and final round of the Ohio Extreme Offroad Summer Series this past weekend, attracting 70 entries. In the 1/8th Nitro Buggy class it was Jeff Switzer with the overall TQ from Tyler Jones on the 2 spot after the qualifiers. The 20-minute A-main final would see Tyler taking over the lead in the opening stages and from there the TLR driver never looked back to take the win a lap in front of Mugen’s Collin Weatherholt as Tekno RC’s Brandon Hogan came in 3rd to round out the podium anther lap down. Eduardo Cabal TQs & wins at FNS Rd1 Posted: 07 Oct 2019 04:05 AM PDT The Homestead RC Raceway played host to round 1 of the Florida Nitro Series this past weekend, attracting nearly 50 entires for the 1/8th and 1/10th nitro on-road classes. In 1/10th 200mm Nitro Sedan it was Eduardo Cabal with the overall TQ from Jerry Guerra in 2nd. After the 30-minute A-main event it was still Eduardo on top as he led from tone to tone, leaving behind Dorian Tisdale in 2nd and Will Carrera in 3rd.
