| Exotek FGX rear aluminium hub set Posted: 05 Feb 2020 09:02 AM PST New from Exotek and made for the 3Racing FGX formula car are precision-machined and laser-engraved 7075 aluminium rear hubs. The raised hub design improves the roll centre, that is +1mm higher with the Exotek hubs, and creates better CVD clearance from the lower arm. The hubs come anodised black and silver chamfered to match the factory looks and they fit the FGX Evo and original FGX. | Carlie Lopez wins at BRCC N.E.O.S. opener Posted: 05 Feb 2020 08:28 AM PST The Barceloneta RC Raceway in Puerto Rico held the opening round of the BRCC N.E.O.S. recently and it was Raymond M. Soto with the overall TQ in the 1/8th GTe class. After the mains however it was Carlie Lopez with the win from Gabriel Velez in 2nd. | Xray XB4’20 large volume graphite diff case & cover Posted: 05 Feb 2020 07:10 AM PST Coming from Xray and made for their XB4’20 1/10th scale 4WD buggy are new graphite-reinforced differential parts. Available for the buggy’s large volume front and rear diffs are both the case and cover as separate, graphite-reinforced items. The lighter and tougher material will withstand higher temperatures and wear better, holding the screws securely in place even when using high-powered motors and/or when driving on very high-bite or rutted tracks. Of a simple design the compact device allows to charge 2S and 3S LiXX as well as one to eight-cell NiXX batteries, making it ideal especially for nitro racers who can conveniently fill modern transmitter as well as receiver batteries without having to carry around full-blown competition chargers. The display-less charger is less prone to be damaged due to dust and dirt with charge current selection being carried out by a simple sliding switch. An integrated 2S to 3S LiPo balancer makes for secure charging of Lithium batteries while the auto-detect NiXX program allows to charge old school NiMH battery packs. The charger comes including connection wires and it will hit stores in March. First up is a stand-up front shock tower kit that offers multiple upper shock and inner camber link mounting positions. The shock stay os machined from high-quality carbon fibre and it includes all needed mounting hardware. Also new and usable with the PDS drift car kits is a transverse battery mount that allows for a wide range of weight bias adjustments. Included come machined carbon fibre battery locators, steel clips as well as mounting hardware. Last but not least comes a rear speed controller mount for the PDSL and PDSH kits. | Posted: 05 Feb 2020 01:21 AM PST Xray have announced the release of a forward servo mount for the T4 2020 touring car. The CNC-machined and black coated forward servo mount is made of Swiss 7075-T6 aluminium and it allows the mounting of the servo holder in a more frontward position which increases steering and steering response. The use is recommended for conditions where improved steering response is needed. Using the forward position makes the car more reactive, however at the expense of stability. The above servo mount must be used with the CNC-machined graphite floating forward servo holder plate. The part is made of premium-grade 3mm graphite material to match the remainder of the car’s carbon fibre parts. Both the servo mount and servo holder plate are usable exclusively with the T4 2020. | Xtra Speed roll out new Capra optionals Posted: 05 Feb 2020 01:13 AM PST Xtra Speed have introduced new optional parts for the Axial Capra vehicles. First up is a 2-piece front or rear brass axles steering knuckle caps set. The heavy brass parts can be fitted to the front or rear axles and they add weight for improved traction. In addition they improve visual impact with their brake-disc-like appearance. Also new are a steel universal driveshaft set as well as stainless steel centre and front/rear differential skid plates. Available separately the parts help to protect the transmission from rocks and other obstacles on the trail. | Tamiya TT-02 3.5mm carbon fibre shock tower Posted: 04 Feb 2020 11:55 PM PST Coming soon from Tamiya is their new 3.5mm carbon fibre shock tower set for the popular TT-02 entry-level touring car. The shock stay offers four different upper shock mounting positions and locations for the body posts, allowing to use it both in the front and the rear of the chassis. The geometry allows to use it with the standard TT-02 friction damper but best results are achieved in combination with the #53571 TRF shocks absorbers and the #54874 adjustable upper arm set. Included with the shock tower comes an assortment of mounting hardware and the set will become available by mid-March.
