Machined from high-quality carbon fibre the mount is of an adjustable design, meaning it can be shifted forth and back in order to fine-tune the buggy’s weight balance. Included with the mount come two different size rubber bands to suit standard and low-profile battery packs. | Ruddog RNX21.3 3.5cc nitro off-road engine Posted: 15 Apr 2020 07:26 AM PDT Ruddog Distribution from Germany have announced the release of their first high-performance nitro off-road engine. The high-quality RNX21.3 3.5cc competition engine features as specially developed crankcase for exceptional performance and great fuel economy with a rear ceramic main bearing and a DLC-coated and Tungsten-balanced crankshaft ensuring very high power output and reliable performance. The engine is of a 3+1 port long-stroke design for high yet controllable torque especially in the lower RPM ranges, making it ideal especially for smaller or technical tracks. Other features include a 22D carburettor for smooth throttle response and high fuel economy while an O-ring equipped combustion camber insert keeps dust away from the delicate parts of the engine. The engine is rounded out by a gold-colour cooling head whose standard height allows to run the engine leaner, extracting ever greater mileage from the engine. | EFRA cancels 2020 European Championships Posted: 15 Apr 2020 07:05 AM PDT With the current World-wide Corona virus pandemic still causing a lot of havoc, the EFRA has announced the cancellation of five European Championships scheduled for this year. This means the 1/10th 200mm, Large Scale On-road, Large Scale Off-road, 1/8th Nitro Off-road, and 1/8th IC Track Euros will all be moved to next year, with the EFRA, the national federations and organisers trying to keep the same venues as planned for this season. The new geometry 3-slot extensions offer an increased Ackermann steering angle which comes in handy when manoeuvring on tight and technical tracks. The plates are machined from high-quality 2.5mm carbon fibre, they come in sets of two and fit the XB2 and XT2 line of buggies and trucks. | Wrap-up Next YD-2 850 bearing adapters Posted: 15 Apr 2020 12:25 AM PDT Coming from Wrap-up Next is a bearing adapter set for the Yokomo YD-2 drift car. The adapters allow to use 850 bearings instead of the standard 1050 ball races which can make for lighter rolling front tyres and thus improved car balance during cornering. | Usukani release new PDS option parts Posted: 15 Apr 2020 12:11 AM PDT Coming from Usukani and made for their PDS series drift cars are several new option parts. The range includes AlTiN shock shafts in a dark finish, an 28T ceramic-coated aluminium mid gear including bearings, a 20T ceramic-coated aluminium top shaft gear as well as reinforcement plate set for front upper arms. The range is rounded out by a 30mm fan mount set. All parts are available from now on with the 28T mid gear also fitting the Yokomo YD-2 drift car.
