Vigor introduce new T4 carbon optionals Posted: 20 Apr 2020 10:05 AM PDT Vigor have announced the release of new carbon fibre option parts for the Xray T4 series of touring cars. First up is a bumper upper holder brace specific to the 2020 variant of the ultra-popular platform. The part braces the bumper against the front bulkhead in the event of a crash, prolonging the life of carbon and aluminium chassis. The mount is as direct fit and it includes mounting hardware. Also available are battery hooks developed for the use with the latest generation of slim or narrow-type LiPo batteries. The hooks allow for a secure fitting of the battery, they are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and fit all T4 series touring cars. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming black or clear silver anodised, the bellcranks will greatly improve the steering precision and durability compared to the standard plastic items. Featuring a cut slick tread the tyres come as 2WD front and 2WD/4WD rear variant and they are usable in a wide range of track conditions. Kyosho Ultima 2WD yellow wheels Posted: 20 Apr 2020 12:24 AM PDT Kyosho have announced the soon release of fluorescent yellow wheels for their Ultima 2WD vintage re-release buggy. They sport the same turbine design as the original white kit wheels, however the chosen colour will please all yellow-is-faster guys and gals out there. The 50mm wheels are usable with the kit and all comparable tyres and they are available in separate pairs for the front or the rear of the buggy. T-Works super-fine ride height gauge Posted: 20 Apr 2020 12:06 AM PDT T-Works have introduced their new super-fine 1.5mm-6mm ride height gauge. Machined from high-quality aluminium and sporting an anodised black and machined silver edge finish, the flippable ride height gauge allows to measure the ground clearance in 0.1mm increments – by turning it around to use even or uneven settings – making it the ideal tool for 1/12th scale and 1/10th scale electric on-road cars. Picco Monza GT Evo 5-port GT engine Posted: 19 Apr 2020 11:59 PM PDT Coming from Picco and designed for the popular 1/8th scale nitro GT classes is the Monza GT Evo 3.5cc engine. Featuring a 5-port multi-exhaust port design, the long-stroke engine was developed to produce improve power output throughout the whole RPM band with the DLC-coated crankshaft and rear ceramic bearing making for exceptional durability and smooth running characteristics. The engine utilises a new die-cast aluminium double bottom-end adjustment carburettor that allows for easy fitting of INS boxes. The engines includes a 7mm venturi insert and a P7TC glow-plug and it is also available in a standard variant with a standard crankshaft and steel rear bearing.
