IGT8 Serpent 1/8th DAO drag assisted one-way Posted: 16 Jun 2020 10:02 AM PDT Coming from IGT8 and made for Serpent 1/8th scale cars is the DAO drag assisted one-way set. The system works with silicone oil to increase the internal friction that slows down the motion of the front wheels when being off throttle. This effect will improve braking, steering at corner entry and it will also help with more consistency and faster lap times. Tested extensively by the IGT8 team, the DAO was officially debuted at the 2019 US Nitro Cup with great results as Paolo Morganti took the TQ in the 1/8th class and Rafael Angulo finished 3rd while Ricardo Garri won the Master class. JConcepts P2 22 5.0 Elite body shell Posted: 16 Jun 2020 09:15 AM PDT Made for the TLR 22 5.0 Elite is JConcepts’ new P2 buggy body shell. The P2 is all about performance with riveting details including raised nose and hood, taller cab and rear-end force features. The side-pods are JC chamfered to provide that legendary look and the secondary window screams JConcepts styling. The cab drops off quickly and runs deep toward the rear giving plenty of drift to the newly added winglets. The tall, rear fin stabiliser acts as a directional vain to keep the buggy tracking in the proper direction while also maintaining a rigid roofline even with light-weight materials. The package includes two Aero S-type wings used by Ryan Maifield to claim the 2017 IFMAR World Championship. The extended rear gurney lip allows for tuning more grip on the loose surfaces while running with the latest generation in off-road. Team Associated introduce new B74 parts Posted: 16 Jun 2020 08:54 AM PDT Coming from Team Associated are new parts for the B74 buggy in the form of stronger steering block arms and updated differential outdrives. Starting with the steering block arms, these are of a new and stronger design. Keeping the original steering geometry, the 2.5mm carbon fibre parts have a larger cross section and radii that greatly improves durability. The steering stop area has been modified to allow for the popular racer modification of grinding the plastic steering stop for additional throw on tight tracks. Also new are updated front or rear differential outdrives. They feature less machining work to provide a more durable and economical outdrive. Their length is 1mm shorter than the original outdrives to reduce chipping around the edges.
