Exotek F1Ultra 1/10th formula car kit

Exotek have introduced their first ever full car kit, the F1Ultra formula pan car. After years of adding innovation to other F1 kits Exotek figured it was time to release their own kit incorporating cutting edge patented chassis technology with high quality components and features. The car isn’t just a redesigned 1/12 chassis, but an all-new design that was created to maximise rubber tyre grip as well as add extra durability that these very unique cars require. The features list includes the patent pending floating rear pod suspension system that provides unmatched rear traction needed for rubber tyre F1 racing. Because the rear suspension generates so much rear traction drivers are able to use more aggressive front tyres which translates to greatly improved lap times and full race length consistency.

An extra narrow chassis makes for improved ground clearance and faster corner speeds while ultra smooth sealed micro shocks ensure maintenance free rear pod tuning. The micro shocks include 3 tuning spring sets for low, medium and high grip tracks and the innovative double spring top “clutch” shock uses an additional internal spring to provide increased forward bite. Also included is the chassis mounted, lightweight rear wing mount, a simple and elegant design that increases the overall rear grip. Extra long, heavy duty no flex side links provide less rear pod angling as the rear tyres travel up and down for improved high speed consistency and they are coupled to the one piece, heavy duty, machined alloy rear pod that provides tweak free racing, extra traction and improved motor cooling. Also part of the package are heavy duty oversized 1/4” rear axle bearings. They are much stronger than typical smaller standard 1/4” pan car bearings.

A one piece heavy duty machined alloy front bulkhead provides rock solid front suspension mounting and the two piece hybrid chassis is optimised to work on all track conditions including low grip asphalt and high grip black carpet. It also allows for long and short wheelbase adjustment for large and small tracks. An easy adjust front camber and caster turnbuckle system means no clumsy “camber inserts” to deal with for quick and precise adjustments without even the need to remove the body and extra heavy duty 3mm thick front arms ensure tweak free racing. The chassis features a secure shorty LiPo tray with carbon LiPo tab for easy battery access and the open rear pod design makes for easier tweak free motor wire routing. The kit is rounded out by high quality premium YFS screws, a heavy duty, high visibility, multi element front wing and a lightweight, high visibility, high downforce, adjustable rear wing.

Bittydesign release new GT body teaser

Joni Skidmore to run Procircuit tyres & Ultimate engines

Modelix Racing have announced that British off-road frontrunner, Joni Skidmore will be running Procircuit tyres as well as the Ultimate Racing engines and accessories from now on. The Mugen racer will use the products to equip his rides for the remainder of this shortened season and Modelix Racing is happy to have Joni on board.

Reds Racing V8 Gen3 2350kV & 2800kV brushless motor

Coming from Reds Racing are two kV variants of their V8 Gen3 electric brushless motor. Adding to the 1900kV and 2100kV variants are the new 2350kV motor for truggies and pan cars and a 2800kV motor for 1/8th on-road cars. The Gen3 motor was specifically designed to provide exceptional power, superior smoothness and control in combination with high efficiency and low temperature operation. Coming with a highly finned CNC-machined aluminium can, the Gen3 V8 motor promises a very low temperature build-up in every condition ensuring exceptional reliability. The motors are capable of both sensored and sensorless operation.

Rusti Design XX4 carbon fibre shock tower stiffener

Rusti Design have introduced their new carbon fibre shock tower stiffeners for the popular Team Losi XX4 vintage 4WD buggy. Designed by Olivier Langlet the 2mm stiffener plates will reinforce the stock moulded composite shock stays resulting in less breaking issues. The stiffeners are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and available from now on.

Arena T4’20 carbon fibre upper deck shim set

Coming from Arena is a new 1mm carbon fibre upper deck shim set for the Xray T4 2020 touring car. The shims are designed to be inserted between the bulkheads and the upper deck, effectively raising the top deck for increased torsional flex and thus optimised flex characteristics which comes in handy in a variety of track conditions. The shims are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and the set includes a total of four.

Yeah Racing SCX10 III HD steel driveshafts

Yeah Racing have introduced new HD steel driveshafts for the Axial SCX10 III trail truck. Available are a universal front driveshaft set as well as a 2-piece set of rear axle shafts. All are made of high-quality steel material for exceptional durability while the black surface coating further improves durability and corrosion resistance. Using the shafts will allow for improved power supply with heavy rigs and in challenging trail conditions.

Juan Carlos Canas triples at Cadiz regional champs

The opening round of the Cadiz regional championship was held at the Circuito de El Estrecho track in Spain last weekend. The event saw the running of 1/8th E-Buggy as well as 1/10th 2WD and 4WD classes and in E-Buggy it was Juan Carlos Canas with the overall TQ and also the win after the triple A-mains, leaving behind Adrian Macias in 2nd and Albert Pelaez in 3rd.

Over in 2WD Buggy it was again Juan Carlos Canas with the overall TQ and win as Zacarias Villalba and Juan Clavijo came in 2nd and 3rd respectively. And just for the fun of it, Juan Carlos would also bring home the win in 4WD Buggy to round out a perfect weekend. Juan Clavijo and Joaquin Ramos would complete the top 3 result in the Wheeler class.

Cristiano Sartor wins at Pista Verde race

The Pista Verde track in Fener, Italy held a friendship race last weekend, the first event following the Corona virus shutdown in Italy. In the 1/8th On-road class it was Cristiano Sartor (ARC/Matrix/Extreme Energy/Hasi) with the win from Marco Bianchi (ARC/Matrix/Extreme Energy/XRD) in 2nd. Claudio Codazzi (ARC/Hot Race/Extreme Energy/Hasi) rounded out the top 3 podium result.

Daniele Ielasi joins Xtreme Aerodynamics & Matrix

Former IFMAR World Champion and Italian on-road frontrunner, Daniele Ielasi will run Xtreme Aerodynamics body shells and Matrix tyres for the remainder of the 2020 season as both brands have announced. Daniele will use the popular and successful Xtreme Aerodynamics bodies at all events he attends as well as Matrix tyres at all open tyre races.
