Contact RC LMP12 Hex tires, arbor & spool set

New from Contact RC are these LMP12 Hex Tyres for the Eclipse 4 and other brands, using the new LMP12 hex lightweight spool set. With the evolutionary solid rear axle on the Eclipse 4 these new tyres use a single M4 nut wheel fixing. Together with quicker wheel changes and easier use, the rotating and unsprung mass has been significantly reduced, offering better performance. Flexibility has also been improved for more equal stiffness around the wheel. Truing these tyres is also easy with the wheel specific Contact RC truing arbour for hex rear and front wheels, while the tires are available in all the popular Contact compounds.

Schumacher Eclipse 4 LMP12 racing chassis kit

Schumacher scored sensational wins in both the modified and stock classes at the 2020 LMP12 IFMAR World Championships with Marc Rheinard and Andy Murray. Now Andy and the Schumacher Engineering team have applied their race winning knowledge to create the new Eclipse 4. The Eclipse 4 includes proven World Championship winning features such as an alloy chassis and a lightweight rear spool as well as new innovations such as big bore damper tubes and single nut rear wheel fixing, make the Eclipse 4 even faster, lighter, and easier to maintain.

New Features
– Revolutionary solid rear axle using single nut wheel fixing. Along with quicker wheel changes and easier use, the rotating and unsprung mass has been significantly reduced offering better performance. (Even when compared to CR721 Solid axle design).
– Rear wheel design allowing the use of the new wheel fixing method. While also reducing mass, flexibility has been improved for more equal stiffness around the wheel.
– Updated Alloy chassis included in the kit.
– Refined top deck shape with slightly increased flex in the front end section.
– Big Bore Side and Centre Damper design offering improved damping. They also give greater damping oil retention (less frequent maintenance required) and a compact and central design. Damper geometry changes have improved damping characteristics.
– Stronger pod base helping to remove any twist in the rear pod and therefore tweak.
– Front beam improving front end flex characteristics.
– Front beam socket using o-ring fixing system to allow easy building and replacing of individual parts.
– King pin with improved suspension action due to a new surface finish. Stiction from full droop vastly reduced and updated damping oil retention.
– 1.5° Camber strap included in the kit.
– Dramatically simplified front ride height adjustment using slide in spacers under the front beam.
– Tyre truer adapter included to suit 1/12 front wheels and the new hex rear wheel.
– Optional lightweight alloy speed control fan mount for 25mm fans.

Exotek DR10 motor guard & heavy duty bumper

More new items from Exotek Racing for the Associated DR10, starting with this heavy duty 7075 machined alloy motor guard. Providing extra rigid mounting for your wheelie bar, for perfectly straight wheelies, it should be used with the stock DR10 bracket to help absorb high speed crashes and protect your bar from breaking. Also new is this heavy duty alloy, carbon fibre and foam bumper set. Details include a heavy duty alloy and carbon fibre mounting base that secures the extra wide high density foam bumper. The same high impact foam used in touring car racing. Inside the foam bumper are 3 alloy posts for extra secure foam bumper mounting. This design also allows you to experiment with adding nylon body posts onto the bumper or perhaps a lexan body lip (splitter) on the under side of the bumper. Designed to work with most street eliminator bodies, ou may opt to add extra foam layers to the front of the bumper for longer nosed bodies like the Malibu etc.

T-Works 4mm & 5.5mm socket drivers

Some new additions to the tool range from T-Works with the release of these 4mm & 5.5mm socket drivers. Like the rest of the tools in this range it features a hardened steel tip, 60mm long in this case and a lightweight aluminium tool handle that has the tool size represented on the top by machined rings for quick and easy reference.

Max Mächler introduces new brand ‘MX’

Fresh out of Germany from top Touring car racer Max Mächler comes the brand MX. Offering customers a large array of products to achieve the best performance both on and off the racetrack, their entire product line, from tungsten weights to high-quality lubricants and specialised tools, is made for enthusiasts who want to maximise the performance of their RC vehicles. All products have been extensively developed and tested at the highest level by professional RC racers. Along with the brand announcement, we will focus on three items from their range, the first two of which are dedicated to the Awesomatix line of touring cars.

The multi tool set combines all useful and necessary tools in just two lightweight and premium looking wrenches. Damper (Std + ADC), Diff, ST17-1 driveshafts – all is covered. A must have for all Awesomatix racers.

Next up is the special caster tools for Awesomatix touring cars. Machined from high-quality alloy. Quick release during slotted mounting point. The pointers are designed to work well with a big range of setup systems including Arrowmax.

Finally, the Precision Wing Mount set help with the correct and repeatable mounting of 1/10 scale polycarbonate wings on TC Bodyshells. The CNC machined aluminium drill jig fits perfectly in the wing mount of the bodyshell which allows you to precisely drill the mounting holes for the wing. Additionally, this set offer the possibility to drill holes in a specific distance to each other in order to change the wing position and affect the handling.
