The small pin tread makes for an overall low weight in combination with an exceptional wear rate, even when using soft compounds. Daniele Ielasi takes Italian 1/8th IC track national title Posted: 03 Jul 2016 07:07 AM PDT Cassino in Italy played host to the Italian 1/8th Nitro On-road Championship this weekend. Infinity’s Carmine Raiola would place his O.S. powered ride on the TQ spot after the qualifiers but in the 45 minute A-main, Daniele Ielasi would bring home the win with his GTX, powered by his own Ielasi Tuned Novarossi engine, sealing the first important title for Italian company WRC. Coming in an all-aluminium design made from 7075-T6 material the shaft scrubs about 25 percent of weight compared to the standard part while also sporting a reduced gear contact patch for less overall drag. The 1-piece design furthermore improves durability with the included 4mm nut topping off the design while also doing away with the original top shaft spacer.
