SWorkz release full S35-3 1/8th nitro buggy details Posted: 09 Feb 2017 09:21 AM PST Following a series of images SWorkz have now officially revealed all details and features of the forthcoming S35-3 1/8th nitro off-road buggy. Building on the experience gained with the S350 line of buggies, the S35-3 utilises new nylon material for the A-arms with an optional carbon fibre cover allowing to adjust the stiffness of the front upper A-arms. A redesigned Ackerman steering system and a unique front shock tower design allow fine-tune the suspension geometry while the centre plastic BBD differential system is meant to improve overall traction and acceleration. The simplified radio tray system allows for better and more precise throttle and brake response and the L.F.C. lower friction coefficient chassis was designed to easily take optional 15g to 45g chassis weights. A quick and easy solution to add weight to the rear of the chassis, the CNC-machined part is made of high-quality brass material, it comes black anodised and attached to the RF suspension block using the kit’s screws. Adding weight in front of the rear axle greatly helps to gain traction on slippery surfaces while also making for a more plush ride over very rough terrain. Maxima Mx R6 .21 nitro on-road engine Posted: 09 Feb 2017 06:34 AM PST Following the GT1 3.5cc GT engine, Maxima have introduced the Mx R6 3.5cc on-road engine. The power plant is based on the O.S. Speed R2102 and underwent several modifications to further improve the performance. Tuned for the use with 16 percent nitro fuel the engine also features a DLC-coated and tungsten-weighted crankshaft, a new ceramic main bearing for decreased internal friction and an additional combustion camber insert allows for finer engine tuning when required. On top of this a low centre of gravity cooling head lowers the over CG of the car. The factory selected, modified and tuned engines become available very soon. 7075.it T4’17 brass weight range Posted: 09 Feb 2017 05:47 AM PST Italian company 7075.it have introduced a range of optional brass weights for the Xray T4’17 touring car. First up is a battery holder weight that adds to the right hand side layshaft bulkhead. The part is being attached using two head screws and while adding 4.5g of weight it also acts as an inner battery stopper. Next up is the motor mount torsion plate that replaces the standard orange anodised aluminium part with a 6.5g brass piece. It is a direct replacement and allows to add weight in a very central position.

Usable with standard 6V but also high-voltage 7.4V input, the servo utilises a coreless motor, a full metal gear train and an all-black lead. It measures 39.8×20.2×28.7mm, weighs in at 55g and is able of pulling up to 14.5kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.07s at 7.4V input. HRC Racing exhaust pipe with smoke generator Posted: 09 Feb 2017 01:52 AM PST HRC Distribution have introduced the HRC Racing exhaust pipe with smoke generator unit for electric drift cars and monster trucks. Consisting of an LED-equipped exhaust end pipe and a control unit, the system makes for a bit of scale realism for any drift car, monster or short course truck. The LED function and the amount of smoke emitted are controlled via the receiver’s throttle channel and the set includes everything needed, such as smoke fluid, mounting hardware and connection wires. The 1-piece wing comes pre-cut for quick and easy installation and includes an optional inner stabiliser segment for improved high speed stability when needed. The smoke grey colour does away with the need to scrub the wing with sandpaper in order to improve visibility and visual appearance. The wing is available separately or as 2-wing set. Exotek 22-4 2.0 alloy steering link & wing mount Posted: 09 Feb 2017 12:10 AM PST Exotek have introduced two new option parts for the TLR 22-4 2.0 4WD buggy in the form of a ball-raced aluminium steering link and a machined aluminium wing mount. Starting with the steering link, the part is machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium and it utilised four 6x3mm bearings to minimise slop and make for smooth movement and long-lasting wear. Included with the black anodised part are also two machined crush spacers for the bearings.
