JConcepts 1988 Chevy Silverado MT body shell Posted: 04 May 2017 07:25 AM PDT Coming from JConcepts is the 1988 Chevy Silverado monster truck body shell. The 1988 styling is very clean, updated, refined and did not display the boxy looks from the early 80’s. The fleetside design is spot-on featuring slight curvature to the main shape, new headlights, grille treatment and form-fitting wheel wells. The slight flare to the tyre openings give just a little wrinkle to the bed-sides and front fenders to accommodate different sized tyres for maximum versatility. The JConcepts body includes a decal sheet that makes detailing out the headlights, taillights and grille a breeze while window mask allows the user to quickly get the body into paint. Also included is a Racerback which fits the ’88 perfectly to recreate trucks all the way into the early 1990’s. The standard cab body has an 11″ wheelbase and fits retro and race monster trucks as a drop-on giving the all important clearance and functionality. JConcepts Aero S-Type 1/10th buggy rear wing Posted: 04 May 2017 06:52 AM PDT JConcepts have introduced the next generation of 1/10th buggy rear wings with the new Aero S-Type. It includes options not yet seen before on a 1/10th off-road rear wing. An extended rear gurney lip makes tuning that much better for more grip on the loose surfaces while running the latest generation in off-road. The base of the wing design is built on the popular Aero wing but with new additions which make the wing more durable and more adjustable. The S-Type wing is a direct bolt-on piece for the Team Associated B6/B6D and B64/B64D. The wing features a long chord construction with revised section to incorporate some reinforced ribbing in the vertical plane below the over-hanging gurney. Cut-lines and dimpled locations are positioned throughout for trim and tuning options. The dimples in the rear can be reamed to expose larger holes which serve as pass-through for circulating air and helps the vehicle maintain its position during long flight jumps.
