Ultimate Racing turnbuckle & nut wrench

Coming from Ultimate Racing is their new turnbuckle and nut wrench. Small and lightweight it is designed for 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 5.5mm, 7mm and 8mm hardware with the steel material making for high durability. Laser-etched markings help with easy identification while the black surface treatment further increases wear resistance.

HB Racing IFMAR-legal 1/8th off-road wing

HB Racing have introduced their new IFMR-legal 1/8th off-road wing. Sporting a lightweight construction with a weight close a polycarbonate wing, the moulded wing features large side dams that allow to attach 40x50mm IFMAR car numbers while a wicker bill helps tune downforce to the track conditions. The new wicker bill design eliminates the need for nuts for extra weight savings. Also included are four pairs of dimples moulded into the bottom of the wing to make mounting simple when using the popular HB one-piece wing mounts while also indicating four fore/aft mounting position choices. The wing is available in black, white and yellow colour.

Techra Edition X Setup Wand

New from Techra is the Edition X Setup Wand. Same as the original but coming in a black/orange anodised finish the tool includes a 22mm and 19mm bulkhead alignment block as well as a pair of 10mm chassis blocks, droop gauges and an on-road ride height gauge. The Edition X tool is available now.

Fenix Slim Series formula carbon fibre chassis

Coming from Fenix as part of their new Slim Series chassis range are carbon fibre chassis for a range of formula pan cars. Designed to reduce chassis scrub during hard cornering the chassis will allow for a softer suspension setup due to greater ground clearance. Available from September are sets for the Xray X1’17/16/15, Yokomo YR10F, Team Associated F6 and Fenix Mistral.

3DRC Aero 190mm touring car rear wings

3DRC have introduced their new Type A and Type B Aero rear wings for 190mm touring cars. The 3-D-printed downforce enhancers sport a full scale motorsport inspired design with dual flaps and inner plates that reinforce the whole structure while also guiding the airflow. The Type A wing features rearward shaped elements which make for a steeper angle in the middle and a lower angle on the sides while the Type B wing has forward bend flaps for a lower centre angle, giving the two wings different aerodynamic characteristics. Both are made for touring car bodies with 100mm screw distance, they feature 40x20mm side plates, double mounting holes for easy fore and aft adjustment, and at 10g they are light of weight. Strong and flexible yet not as forgiving as polycarbonate wings the parts are intended for the more experienced driver and like all 3DRC products they are available through Shapeways.

Juan Jose Serna takes Colombian 1/8th Buggy title

The recent Colombian 1/8th Off-road Championships saw Juan Jose Serna (Xray) walking away with the win in the main final. Starting from the 8 spot on the grid following issues in the qualifiers, Juan would take over the lead in the main final at the five minute mark only so suffer more problems later on. He was able to re-enter the race though and at the some 38 minutes into the main he took over the lead again and never looked back to take the Colombian national title from Mugen racer Juan Pablo Torres in 2nd and Felipe Salazar (Xray) 3rd.

Mon-Tech Racing from Italy have introduced their new 2017 style formula front wing. Of an adjustable design the wing can be run with three, two or a single wing element, meaning it can adapt the car’s aerodynamics to a wide range of track conditions from low to high-bite. All needed flaps are included with the wing that is available in black or white colour and that fits most of today’s formula cars.

Teamsaxo SRX8E body shell

Coming from Teamsaxo and made for the Serpent SRX8E is a high-downforce body shell. It features a roof-top shark fin, a medium cab forward design and its rear flaps make for improved aerodynamics especially at higher speeds. The body comes clear, including overspray film and window masks.

KAOS Reeper wheelie bar, chassis & springs

KAOS Advance Tuning distributors Robitronic have introduced a range of option parts for the CEN Racing Reeper 1/7th scale monster truck. First up is an adjustable wheelie bar set. Its design allows to set the tilt angle at 40 degrees or 45 degrees and it comes including ball-raced wheels and mounting hardware, making it a direct fit. Next up is a carbon fibre chassis plate made from 3.5mm sheet material. The hard compound graphite makes for extremely high rigidity while still being light of weight, upping the overall performance and looks of the truck. Last but not least are longer and stronger spring sets with progressive winding. Available in red or green colour to complement the Reeper body shells, the springs are ideal for the hardcore basher.
