The device comes including an USB cable, 200mm sensor wire as well as a manual and along with the V3 version of the USB Bridge, LRP also have the updated v2.2 firmware tool available for download to support the FlowX series speed controller. Austin Woodyard sweeps Tilted Worlds Posted: 07 Aug 2017 03:27 AM PDT The Tilted Worlds were held this past weekend and it was Austin Woodyard who made a clean sweep by TQing and winning all three classes he attended. In the Nitro Buggy main Austin would make a couple of mistakes but he would work his way back up to the 1st spot to take the win. The Nitro Truggy main saw Austin taking the win from tone to tone and finally in 1/8th E-Buggy he came out fastest in A1 only to suffer a big crash in A2. Coming back from P8 Austin would end the second main on the runner-up spot which was enough for him to take the overall win and with it his third title of the weekend. Jemison & Orlowski win at oOple Invernational 17 Posted: 07 Aug 2017 02:49 AM PDT The 2017 edition of the iconic oOple Invernational was held at Robin Hood Raceway in the UK this past weekend. As usual the event attracts both national and international top drivers with the 2017 race making no exception. The event was held in several 1/10th off-road classes and in the premier 2WD Modified Buggy category it was TQ holder Ben Jemison (Schumacher) who laid down a dominant performance in the triple A-mains to take the title from Team C’s Craig Collinson in 2nd and Schumacher’s Michal Orlowski 3rd. The 4WD class again saw the TQ holder coming out on top with Michal Orlowski taking the win in the opening two A-mains to snatch the overall win early. Craig Collinson (Team C) came out on top in the third and final A-main to take the overall runner-up spot from Wesley van Helmond (Schumacher) in 3rd. Elsewhere in the 2WD Truck class it was Dave Smith with the win from Colin Mccaffery and Benjamin Kirkham in 2nd and 3rd while the 4WD Truck win went to Adam Skelding from Jim Dixon and Damian Whittle. BRCA Touring Car Series Rd4 – Report Posted: 07 Aug 2017 02:14 AM PDT A full entry of 110 drivers headed to the fast Halifax track in the north of the UK for round 4 of the BRCA Touring Car Series. Prior to the meeting there were concerns over the Sorex control tyre so the BRCA allowed an extra set of tyres for the Modified drivers. Despite the 2017 title already being decided in favour of Xray’s Olly Jefferies, the class was still very keenly contested. At round 4 Jefferies once again took TQ ahead of Team Associated’s Chris Granger and the Schumacher of Elliott Harper, and Jefferies also went on to take both legs of the Modified A-final ahead of Harper and Zak Smith (Team Associated). In winning the meeting Jefferies maintains his 100 percent unbeaten record in the UK this year. In the 13.5 Boosted Stock class it was the battle of the Xray drivers with Markus Askell taking TQ ahead of championship leader Zak Finlay. Finlay went on to take the win ahead of the Schumacher pairing Chris Gunter and and James Hart, and in taking the win Finlay also secured the 2017 Boosted class title. In 13.5 Blinky it was an all-Awesomatix top three with Jimmy Maddison taking a convincing victory ahead of Shaun Batt and Richard King. Hungarian IC Track Nationals Rd5 – Report Posted: 07 Aug 2017 01:19 AM PDT Round 5 of the Hungarian Nitro On-road National Championship was held at the MORAC Stöhr-Ring in very hot weather conditions. Open for guest drivers, the event attracted nearly 40 entries from four different countries and in the premier 1/8th on-road class it was Tomas Liptak with the win from Branislav Panak in 2nd and Martin Zvara 3rd. The 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring Efra class saw Gergo Lehner coming out fastest after the final from Tamas Sagi 2nd and Peter Taal 3rd. Finally in 1/10th 200mm Stock class, run with controlled spec engines, the win went to Zsolt Bajusz Jr. with Zoltan Polyak and Abris Pogatsnik rounding out the podium result. Rheinard, Hofer & Stocker take German EP On-road titles Posted: 07 Aug 2017 12:52 AM PDT The MBC Bamberg club played host to this year’s German Electric On-road Nationals this past weekend. In the premier Touring Modified class it was Infinity’s Marc Rheinard who took the TQ and also the wins in the opening two A-mains to add another national title to his belt. Behind him, Awesomatix’s Freddy Südhoff and Yokomo’s Ronald Völker would battle for the runner-up spot with the better end for Freddy, who already optioned the 2 spot after the qualifiers. Ronald would come in 3rd while Yokomo teammate Christopher Krapp had to settle for 4th overall. In Touring Sport it was Martin Hofer who lead a Yokomo 1-2-3 with Valentin Hettrich and Tobias Vogel rounding out the podium result. Fastest non-Yokomo driver was Awesomatix’s Max Mächler in 4th. In the Formula class it was Roche driver Alexander Stocker who took the title from Serpent designer, David Ehrbar in 2nd and Shepherd’s Sven Janik in 3rd. Jiri Benes wins Czech Senior Race Posted: 07 Aug 2017 12:25 AM PDT The popular 1/8th off-road Senior Race was held at the Horni Jeleni track in the Czech Republic. The organising club did its best to prepare a nice track after the Friday morning before the race was rained out. In the premier class of 1/8th Nitro Buggy it was Xray’s Jiri Benes with the TQ and win from Karel Hajek (Xray) and Jaroslav Valder (Xray) in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
