JConcepts MBX7R Strike 3 buggy body shell Posted: 17 Oct 2017 07:30 AM PDT JConcepts have introduced their new Strike 3 body shell for the Mugen MBX7R buggy. The body samples elements from its famous relatives the Finnisher, Silencer and Striker but packs a slightly refined image. The base enhancements to the design come from the parallel to chassis side pods, that look traditional with 1/8th buggies of the past. A large rear-end winglet has been added to aid in the rear traction stability as well as stopping force. The offset of the race proven shell provides a compact fit for fuel tank, linkage and air filter assembly while the heavy channeling on the front windshield keeps the Strike 3 aligned at high-speed. Just behind the engine head, a sleek up-rising flows from the body like running water and a sharp rise in the rear wicker blocks flow to the rear tower and redirects to the rear wing area. The clear body set includes window templates and a decal sheet and it is a direct fit for the MBX7R. Source: JConcepts [jconcepts.net] |

Serpent F110 SF3 wide front end set Posted: 17 Oct 2017 05:25 AM PDT Serpent have released a wide front end set for the F110 SF3 formula car. Included in the set are a wider 2mm carbon fibre suspension plate, a wider castor plate as well as ball cups and turnbuckles. Using the set creates a slightly wider front track width that will help with consistency especially in high grip conditions as it makes for a less aggressive front end without taking away side bite. The wider setup also reduces traction rolling issues on very high-traction surfaces and it is thus highly recommended for the forthcoming carpet season and when running on sugared asphalt tracks. Infinity IF14 aluminium flex main chassis Posted: 17 Oct 2017 05:09 AM PDT Coming from Infinity and arriving in time for the indoor carpet season is an aluminium flex main chassis plate for the IF14 touring car. Made from 7075 alloy with a black anodised finish, the design and cut-outs of the fully symmetrical 2mm chassis has been optimised to offer perfect chassis flex. Weighting approximately 13g heavier than the carbon chassis supplied as part of the standard IF14 kit, the new optional aluminium chassis is suitable for creating a lower centre of gravity which is particularly beneficial when racing on carpet or on a high grip surface.
