Exotek introduce new RC10F6 option parts Posted: 24 Jan 2018 12:29 AM PST Coming from Exotek and made for the Team Associated RC10F6 formula car are the new rear traction plate set and the adjustable front camber arm kit. Starting with the rear end, the rear traction plate set is a battery hold down conversion that adds rear end flex to the F6 chassis for improved traction in all conditions. The redesigned shock plate includes a battery hold down bar so that tape is not needed to hold down the battery, for easier more secure battery hold also with the benefit of added chassis flex. Also included are three extra soft top shock springs as an added tuning touch to increase rear grip on lower grip track or rubber tyre conditions. The conversion is usable with standard shorty LiPo packs and requires two new holes in the body shell for the repositioned body posts. Also new is the multi adjustable upper arm set for the Associated Formula car. These heavy duty CNC machined arm sets allow to make quick and precise camber and caster adjustments on the fly, without disassembling the front end or even taking off the body shell. The arm set is precision machined for the smoothest arm movement and more durable than stock to better absorb hard impacts and remain tweak free. Included in the set are 7075 alloy caster adjusters, smooth action machined delrin camber adjusters, alloy swivel balls for upper nylon arms, alloy 4.8mm pivot balls, hardened steel 3mm turnbuckles and hardware as well as heavy duty nylon ball cups. The arm set can also be used on the Xray X1 but without the roll bar. Source: Exotek [exotekracing.com] |

JConcepts EB410 F2 body & front scoop Posted: 23 Jan 2018 02:03 PM PST JConcepts have introduced their new F2 body shell and front scoop for the Tekno EB410 1/10th 4WD buggy. Starting with the body, the lid’s design is based off of the original Finisher body but the F2 provides an even more aggressive look with an increased windshield angle that provides a steady force upfront during mid-flight wind gusts on large jumps and simplified side pods to remove unwanted changes in height. The narrow rear-end of the Tekno played a role in the look and feel, however, the JConcepts designers wanted more. The team incorporated a high-end floor feature which aggressively provides a look and feel not seen before on an RC car and reminiscent of an open wheel Formula car. The F2 is also dramatically lower in height and special consideration was made for the steering, servo horn and front geometry to allow the body to have that drop-on fit. The EB410 kit includes a side-mount fan option which has also been taken into consideration with the F2 body design. The body includes a louver design built into the right hand side pod which runs alongside the fan and scribe lines where the user can add holes for direct air circulation. In addition to the newly designed body, JConcepts has included two of the latest S-Type Aero rear wings used by Ryan Maifield to win the 2017 IFMAR World Championships. The rear wing is also available separately in a 2-piece set as is a front scoop/nose cone that also is a direct fit on the EB410. Source: JConcepts [jconcepts.net] |
