Awesomatix A800FX FWD touring car – Prototype images Posted: 14 Mar 2018 02:11 AM PDT Awesomatix’s Max Mächler has released a couple of images of the company’s A800FX touring FWD prototype. The car builds on the A800X 4WD tourer, however a new chassis layout and belt-driven front wheel drive gearbox greatly change the appearance compared to the previous prototype that saw an unconventional “behind the front wheels” motor position. The new prototype is now a lot more up to date with current designs in terms of weight balance while the Awesomatix’s signature rotation dampers make for the very low overall centre of gravity that the original 4WD tourer takes profit of. The car is still in prototype stages with a lot of ideas still in the pipeline. Source: Awesomatix [awesomatix.com] |
