They are machined from aluminium, come black anodised for wear, and they sport a machined silver star for looks. The vehicle uses a 7075-T6 aluminium chassis with composite side rails, a low centre of gravity motor mount, and a newly designed slipper assembly. Also included are optionals such as a rear swaybar, carbon fibre front and rear shock towers, 12mm big bore shock absorbers and 7075 aluminium rear arm mounts with inserts. The arm reduces front wheel caster, adjustable in a new range of 3 degrees to 7 degrees, for increased steering, improved handling and less tyre wear. Axon clear chassis protection film Posted: 11 Apr 2018 04:26 AM PDT Coming soon from Axon is a clear protection film that was designed to fit in the battery area of the chassis plate. Only 0.1mm thick and offering moderate slip, the protection decal is virtually invisible while ensuring exceptional protection from scratches and damages that can occur when dust or dirt collects under the battery pack during a run, ensuring the chassis will look like new for a long time.
