LMR Star thumb nuts

LMR have introduced their new “Star” thumb nuts for the battery retainers of most 1/10th off-road buggies. They are machined from aluminium, come black anodised for wear, and they sport a machined silver star for looks. The knurled design helps to conveniently tighten and undoing the nuts that come supplied as pairs.

Shepherd Velox F1 aluminium rear axle

It is machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and it scrubs about 50 percent of weight compared to the kit’s steel axle. A hard-coated surfaces ensures exceptional durability. Reds Racing sign Jamie Clancy

Reds Racing have announced the addition of UK’s Jamie Clancy to their team for the 2018 and 2019 racing season. Jamie will be using Reds Racing engines and accessories during his campaign and he had the following to say:

Alessio Mazzeo wins Italian 1/5th nats Rd2

The second round of the Italian Large Scale On-road Championship was held in Gubbio last weekend. Alessio Mazzeo would bring home the win in the 30-minutes Expert Touring A-main from Edoardo Repetti in 2nd and Nicola Marrone 3rd. Andrea Catalani and Ambrogio would round out the top 5 result.

Team C TM2 V3 2WD buggy kit

Available now from Team C is the TM2 V2 2WD off-road buggy kit for racing on high to very high bite surfaces. The vehicle uses a 7075-T6 aluminium chassis with composite side rails, a low centre of gravity motor mount, and a newly designed slipper assembly. Also included are optionals such as a rear swaybar, carbon fibre front and rear shock towers, 12mm big bore shock absorbers and 7075 aluminium rear arm mounts with inserts. The kit is rounded out by a new design body shell.

Bezerk RC RX-10SR carbon fibre top decks

Available now from Bezerk RC are two carbon fibre top decks for the Destiny RX-10SR touring car. Coming in a standard and a split-type design, the top decks are available in 1.6mm, 1.8mm and 2.0mm carbon fibre for added tuneability in combination with carbon fibre or alloy lower main plates.

Xray GTX front upper arm

Xray have introduced a new front upper arm for their GTX and GTXE 1/8th scale GT kits. The arm reduces front wheel caster, adjustable in a new range of 3 degrees to 7 degrees, for increased steering, improved handling and less tyre wear. The arm is usable on the left and right hand side of the car and it is available from now on.

Coming from Trion is a new pit mat. It is made of thick 4mm high-quality material and measures 1215x610mm. Two full-colour Trion logos make for visual impact and the mat can be rolled or folded for easy storage or transportation.

Axon clear chassis protection film

Coming soon from Axon is a clear protection film that was designed to fit in the battery area of the chassis plate. Only 0.1mm thick and offering moderate slip, the protection decal is virtually invisible while ensuring exceptional protection from scratches and damages that can occur when dust or dirt collects under the battery pack during a run, ensuring the chassis will look like new for a long time. Due to not sticking to the battery pack, the protective film also only has minimal influence on the natural chassis flex. The product will hit stores about mid-April.
