Ultimate Racing 16mm 8-hole shock pistons

Coming from Ultimate Racing are new conical 16mm shock pistons for a range of 1/8th off-road kits. Available as blue-colour 1.3mm and red-colour 1.2mm variants, both are of an angled 8-hole design that help with smooth overall damper action and improved pack while landing jumps. The shock pistons come in sets of two each and they are usable for most 16mm inner diameter shock absorbers.

Tebo doubles at Kyosho 3-Lap Challenge

The 2018 Kyosho 3-Lap Challenge was held at Nor-Cal Hobbies last weekend and it was Jared Tebo who would TQ both 2WD Mod and 4WD Mod Buggy after the double qualifiers. In the 5-minute 2WD Mod A-main it was again Jared on top with Zach Rogers and Chris Silva coming in 2nd and 3rd while in the single 4WD Mod A-main Tebo took the win from Julian Jimenez 2nd and Ryan Brignani 3rd.

Xray Racing Series Italy finale – Report

The final round of the Xray Racing Series Italy was recently held at the Miniautodromo T5 in Rome. The event attracted 65 drivers to compete in the five classes of Touring Modified, Touring 13.5T Pro blinky, 13.5T blinky, 17.5T blinky and Formula. In the Touring Modified class it was Alessio Menicucci with the TQ from Martin Hudy 2nd and Giuseppe De Liguori 3rd. Alessio and Martin would also battle it out in the opening two A-mains but in the end it was Alessio with the overall win from Martin in 2nd place. Simone D’Ottavio completed the podium result in 3rd.

In 13.5 Blinky Pro the pole position was decided by only 0.012s and in the end Alessio Valentini took the TQ in front of Mustafa Alp and Massimo Fabiani. In the A-mains Mustafa tried to pass Valentini in a fair manner, but Alessio left him no space so Mustafa had to settle for 2nd overall. In some distance Fabiani was fighting with Mancini and Fabiano for the final podium position and ultimately it would work out for him.

In 17.5 Blinky Flavio Buzi was the man to beat right from the start and he would also take the pole position for the A-mains from Francesco De Angelis 2nd and Simone Anelli 3rd. In the finals Flavio confirmed his dominant role as the took the day’ win from Simone Anelli as Alessandro Bagagli was able to take the 3rd position starting from 5th on the grid.

Also in the Formula class the fight for the top positions was really tight but in the end it was Alessandro Manciocchi with the TQ in front of Massimo Cardelli and Marco Sarra. After the finals Manciocchi was able to confirm his position followed by Luca Magnocavallo and Dario De Angelis.

Fillipos Issakidis wins Greek Touring Nats Rd2

The second round of the Greek Touring Car Modified Nationals was hosted by the RcManiacs track in Argos. During the three qualifiers the battle for the overall TQ was on between young gun Ioannidis and Greek champions Isaakidis and Doucakis. Eventually Isaakidis took the pole in front of Ioannidis and Doucakis. In the first leg Isaakidis made a mistake in the opening stages of the race so it was Ioannidis who took the lead and win with a really good pace, some six seconds in front of Paachristos and Mpakirtzis. At the start of leg 2 there was an accident involving a lot of cars so Kidis took the lead for two laps but got passed by Isaakidis who eventually finished 1st in the leg with Mpakirtzis in 2nd and Papachristo in 3rd. In the deciding third leg Isaakidis opened a 2-second gap on Ioannidis and remained in the lead till the end of the leg so it was Isaakidis who secured P1 overall with Ioannidis 2nd and Papachristos 3rd.

Destiny RX-10SR solid alloy & brass suspension mounts

Coming from Destiny and made for the RX-10SR touring car are new 1-piece FR Type A and Type B suspension mounts. The solid mounts are designed to replace the standard 2-piece suspension hangers with either lightweight aluminium or heavy brass items in order to fine-tune both chassis flex and weight bias. The mounts are available separately and they come with engraved markings for easy identification.

Jakub Klapacz wins Grand Prix Malopolska title

The fourth and final round of the Grand Prix Malopolska series was held in Poland with drivers from France, the Czech Republic and Poland in attendance. In the 13.5T Touring class Jakub Klapacz was the points leader going into the final round thanks to winning two of the three previous rounds but another win was denied by Arkadiusz Smyk who took the day’s win after a great drive all day with Jakub coming in a strong 2nd place to take the overall title from Marek Cisek 2nd and Maciej Galecki in 3rd.

The battery is usable in all applications that require increased voltage, such as monster or outlaw short course trucks. The pack measures a compact 133x43x27mm, weighs in at 335g and fits most 2S LiPo battery compartments. It is built from 50C/100C cells, offers 11.1V output and it is available with T-type or XT90 connectors.
