Manuel Gremlica wins at Austrian 1/8th Track nats Posted: 20 Aug 2018 10:50 AM PDT Round 4 of the Austrian IC Track National was held at the Stöhr Ring this past weekend. In the supporting, and growing, 1/8th Electric Stock class, that attracted nine racers, it was Manuel Gremlica (Buri Racer) with the TQ and win from the Corally duo of Patrick Wendy und Harald Wendy. Designed to replace the standard plastic shock towers with more durable, precise and cooler looking items, the shock stays also feature a refined suspension geometry for better overall performance. Racing Experience 2135 hard-coated pipe sets Posted: 20 Aug 2018 08:33 AM PDT Racing Experience from France have two hard-coated EFRA 2135 exhaust pipe sets for O.S. and Picco-based off-road engines available. Both are made of harder material for improved efficiency while the black hard coating ensures better durability and easier maintenance. Schumacher Dart Cup Rd5 – Report Posted: 20 Aug 2018 07:22 AM PDT Round 5 of the Schumacher Dart Cup was held this past weekend at the RC Track facility, about 50km outside of Warsaw. The track offered a very smooth surface and a fast layout with a few technical jumps and the same cool bridge as in round 4. After a great fight between Bartek Kramza, Iwo Czarnecki and Bartek Gogacz, Bartek took the overall TQ in 2WD and 4WD. Unfortunately before the main finals it started to rain and the grip dropped to zero making the race even more exciting. In the opening 2WD final Bartek Kramza was able to fend off the constant attacks of Iwa Czarnecki and Wojtek Rzepecki for the win. In the second final Iwo Czarnecki dominated the race while in the final leg and after a hard fight with Iwo it was Bartek Kramza with the win and the overall from Iwo in 2nd. 2WD Buggy final results: The opening 4WD final was won was won by Sebastian Migal in beautiful fashion from Iwo Czarnecki and Bartek Kramza. In the second final Sebastian confirmed his dominance, leaving behind Bartek Kramza and Bartlomiej Gogacz in 2nd and 3rd respectively. The third final was again won by Sebastian Migal, this time from Iwo Czarnecki and Bartek Kramza. 4WD Buggy final results: The Stock class was dominated by Lukasz Piecyk with Damian Rogodzinski and Michal Sekal completing the top 3 results. Stock final results: Truck Pro saw Damian taking the win from Marcin Krysiak 2nd and Kuba Krus 3rd. Truck Pro final results: In the Satamax Truck category it was Marcin Czech with the win from Pawel Dominiak and up and coming Malgosia Czech. Czech 1/10th Off-road Nationals Rd4 – Report Posted: 20 Aug 2018 05:49 AM PDT The fourth round of Czech 1/10th Electric Off-road Nationals took place last weekend at the bumpy Usti nad Labem astro track. Saturday morning started out wet, however dry weather with temperatures of up to 40 Degrees Celsius was announced. In the 2WD Buggy class Xray’s Kaja Novotny TQ’d all three rounds of qualifying for the overall and he would also take tone-to-tone wins in the opening two A-mains to take the day’s win from the Team Associated duo of Marek Schiller and Ales Bidovsky. In 4WD Buggy and on a lower traction track, Kaja TQ’d Q1 and Q2 for the overall, however when the traction came up in the finals, Kaja wasn’t able to match the pace of winner Marek Schiller and runner-up, Ales Bidovsky and he had to settle for 3rd overall. The Stadium Truck class however was a different affair again as Kaja took both the overall TQ and win. With one round to go the championships are already decided in favour of Kaja who secured himself the titles in all three categories with one round to spare. Source: Xray [teamxray.com] |

Neumann crowned German 1/10 4WD & Truck champ Posted: 20 Aug 2018 01:51 AM PDT This past weekend the 2018 German 1/10th 4WD and Racing Truck Nationals were held at the Arena33 astroturf outdoor track in Andernach. In the 4WD Modified class it was Schumacher’s Jörn Neumann who took the 2018 4WD Modified title by sweeping the class, taking the top qualifying honours and also bringing home the wins in all three A-mains. Yokomo’s Luca Rau came in 2nd from Marcel Schneider (HB Racing) in 3rd. In the Racing Truck class it was again Jörn with the TQ and win as Jens Becker and veteran racer, Guido Kraft, completed the top 3 results. Image: Jörn Neumann |
Darren Boyle takes double UK Short Course titles Posted: 20 Aug 2018 01:37 AM PDT Round 6 of the UK Short Course Nationals was hosted by the A1 Racing Club near Grantham this past weekend. The final round of the championship saw Darren Boyle managing to take the TQ and the win in both the 2WD and 4WD classes. Neil Cragg takes double BRCA Buggy titles Posted: 20 Aug 2018 01:27 AM PDT The sixth and final round of the BRCA 1/10th Off-road National Championship was held at the Boughton track this past weekend. In the 2WD class Team Associated’s Neil Cragg secured his 22nd national championship title by bringing home the win from Yokomo’s Lee Martin 2nd and Schumacher’s Michal Orlowski 3rd. Overall in the Championship Lee Martin and Tom Yardy would round out the top 3 results. Over in the 4WD class, run on Sunday, it was Lee Martin with the win from Michal Orlowski 2nd and Neil Cragg in 3rd. The final podium spot however was enough for Neil to bring home national championship number 23 as Lee Martin and Tom Cockerill came in 2nd and 3rd overall. Image: RacewayOne |
