WRC Racing NTX 1.2 2nd gear carrier Posted: 05 Oct 2018 07:12 AM PDT WRC Racing have introduced a new 2nd gear carrier made of 7075-T6 aluminium for their NTX 1.2 1/10th scale nitro on-road kit. Xray Racing Series Germany Rd3 – Report Posted: 05 Oct 2018 05:54 AM PDT The RCRT Duisburg astroturf track played host to round 3 of the Xray Racing Series Germany recently. The track was redesigned at the start of the season with the layout combining fast and technical sections. The schedule saw free practice on Saturday with the actual race taking place on Sunday. In the premier 2WD Modified Buggy class and after some great racing in all three A-mains it was Team Associated driver Jochen Müller with the win followed by Bernd Wiedenbusch (Xray) on the 2nd spot and Sven Braciak (Team Associated) taking the final spot on the podium. Xray’s Jens Becker took the win in the 4WD Modified Buggy class followed by Ingo Lehmann and Pasquale Amato who rounded out an all-Xray podium. The Truck Modified category saw Xray’s Jens Becker TQing the class and winning in all finals. Maik Diel (Xray) started from 3rd on the grid and worked his way up to 2nd overall while Andreas Bernardy (Xray) finished 3rd. The 2WD Stock Buggy class was in the hands of Ingo Lehmann who grabbed the overall TQ after the qualifiers and won A1 and A2 for the overall win. The 6750mAh pack weighs in at 534g and it is built from Graphene-technology 55C cells, making it ideal for power-hungry 1/8th on-road and off-road applications. The hardcase battery features 5mm bullet-type connectors and comes with an external balancing harness. Also new is the higher 5200mAh pack that weighs in at 463g including the pre-wires T-type connector and industry-standard balancer port. Hiro Seiko T4’19 & TRG118 lightweight screw sets Posted: 05 Oct 2018 03:07 AM PDT Hiro Seiko have introduced new lightweight screw sets for the Xray T4’19 and TRG118 on-road kits. Starting with the Xray-specific set, the kit for the recently announced T4’19 tourer is available as all-titanium or mixed titanium and aluminium set, the latter saving even more weight compared to the all-titanium set. The mixed set includes natural colour titanium and orange anodised alloy fasteners to add visual impact while offering improved corrosion resistance and an overall lower weight. As for the TRG118 sets, they are available as all-titanium or mixed titanium and alloy sets, the latter including grey anodised aluminium screws to match the car’s colour scheme. The former ETS podium finisher will campaign the A800X Evo kit at all major races across Europe including the ETS and European Championships. The former long-time Xray pilot had the following to say about the deal: I am more than happy to get the opportunity to join Awesomatix. Felt like the right time to make the move and I am excited for a new challenge. Working together with the team and also with the factory was what I was really looking for. I am thankful for this opportunity and I’m confident that I will achieve some good results. Honestly, I´m looking forward for a awesome time and the new chapter in my career. HB Racing D418 anti-roll bar sets Posted: 05 Oct 2018 01:31 AM PDT Coming from HB Racing and made for the D418 1/10th off-road buggy are new front and rear anti-roll bar sets. They give racers a wider range of adjustments to help tune the car to different track conditions. Available as separate sets for the front and rear of the vehicle the sets include 1.6mm, 1.8mm and 2.0mm wires, each being labelled for easy identification. Team Associated RC8B3.1 & T3.1 FT arm stiffeners Posted: 04 Oct 2018 11:53 PM PDT Team Associated’s new Factory Team graphite arm stiffeners are designed to increase the rigidity of the RC8B3.1 and T3.1 suspension arms for improved consistency and stability, especially in warm climates. The rear stiffener plates increase rigidity around the outer hinge pin, a critical area when improving the overall effectiveness of an arm stiffener. Available are five different sets, including RC8B3 series front upper, front lower and rear stiffeners as well as RC8T3 series front lower and rear lower stiffeners. The buggy-specific items are machined from 1.0mm material while the truck parts are made of thicker 1.5mm material.
