Vision Racing TLR 22 4.0 rear shock tower & shock pistons Posted: 06 Oct 2018 09:59 AM PDT Coming from Vision Racing are a new carbon fibre rear shock tower and shock pistons for the TLR 22 4.0 buggy. The shock tower, that is designed for the use with the laydown transmission, is made of 5mm carbon fibre and it incorporates micro tune shock positioning by adding two in between holes to the standard positions of the stock shock tower. The needed mount is made of 7075 aluminium and is anodised black. The two raised portions on the base allow clearance of the transmission case when mounting a rear swaybar kit. On today’s extreme traction tracks less suspension flex is a must. This combo will deliver a more consistent driving car while also improving jumping. As for the 2×1.6mm and 2×1.7mm shock pistons, they offer a slightly larger outer diameter for less oil blow-by. While making the damper more consistent, the reduced height will reduce the contact patch with the shock body for less overall friction. Source: Vision Racing [visionracing.net] |
