Rusti Design YZ-4 SF carbon fibre shock towers Posted: 02 Jan 2019 10:38 AM PST French brand Rusti Design has introduced new carbon fibre shock towers for the Yokomo YZ-4 SF 4WD buggy. Both are machined from matte finish carbon fibre and they sport an updated and unique design with a pocketed RD logo and additional machining for a low weight and increased stability. The shock stays however utilise the same geometry as the stock parts and they are available now. Raceform EB/ET410 V2 electronic tray Posted: 02 Jan 2019 08:03 AM PST Coming from Raceform is their V2 electronic tray for the Tekno RC EB410 and ET410 kits. Of a stronger and more durable design the item is made of a new material with stress areas having been eliminated, making for improved overall rigidity. In addition the a new 4-piece design ensures the tray can be rebuild with spare parts if needed. The tray was developed to ensure easy transponder, receiver, speedo and capacitor mounting for a cleaner looking installation and it is a drop fit with no chassis modification required. Posted: 02 Jan 2019 02:53 AM PST Hobbywing have officially announced the signing of European Touring Stock ace Max Mächler to their international team. The Awesomatix team manager and 2018 EFRA European Stock Champion will use Hobbywing brushless speed controllers and motors in all of his cars starting immediately. Furthermore “Mad Max” will be involved in R&D of new products, with his knowledge about the needs of Stock class racing being a valuable asset. Max has the following to say about the deal: I am proud to join the international Hobbywing team in 2019 and I want to thank Hobbywing and Salton Dong for this great opportunity to work and race with such a professional team. The 1/10th off-road ace from Poland will use Power HD’s line of high-performance servos in his 2019 campaign that will include all major events world wide including World and European Championships in electric buggy, touring car and 1/12th scale, the ETS and EOS races as well as select other events. Spencer Rivkin joins Hobbywing Posted: 02 Jan 2019 12:28 AM PST Hobbywing have announced that Spencer Rivkin, IFMAR World champion and multiple ROAR National champion, is now part of their racing team. Spencer will make his Hobbywing-powered debut soon, beginning with CRCRC, and then the Reedy International Race of Champions. Ryan Cavalieri teams up with SWorkz for 1:8 campaign Posted: 02 Jan 2019 12:19 AM PST SWorkz have announced the addition of former IFMAR Worlds and multi-time ROAR National Champion, Ryan Cavalieri to their 1:8 off-road factory team. The former long-time Team Associated ace left AE at the end of last year and he be piloting SWorkz’s popular S35 1:8 off-road platforms in his 2019 campaign. Ryan says: I’m very excited to be a part of the SWORKz team in 2019. I would like to thank Scott Yang and Max Sonnleitner for giving me this opportunity and making the great line of communication during this process. I’m looking forward to work with the team and engineers for their 1:8 scale program starting with the Dirt Nitro Challenge as my first event of the year.
