REDCAT’s 17th Annual New Original Works Festival

This year, for the first time ever, REDCAT’s New Original Works (NOW) Festival will move to the fall, spread across three weekends, each featuring a triple bill of premieres.

The 17th annual festival, a celebration of Los Angeles’ vibrant community of artists creating contemporary performance works, will take place Oct. 8-10, Nov. 5-7, Dec. 10-12, 2020.

Presented virtually from the REDCAT stage, Week One will see musician and performance artist Davia Spain taking a deep dive into self-actualization with This is for Davia; actress Simone Moore exploring an Afro-Jamaican immigrant woman’s experience in marriage and divorce with The Divorce Comedy: A spiritual study; and performance artist Alex Alpharaoh’s O-Dogg: An Angeleno Take on Othello.
