Preemies & Diabetes: a Study of How They are Connected
Letter from the Editor

Over the years we have published many articles on the pros and cons of statin therapy for diabetes patients. Doing a quick look on our website, I found we have over 400 articles on the topic and the pros and cons are split 60/40 in favor of using statins. I also saw that all of these studies were done with type 2 patients.

This week our intern Mia Flowers, PharmD. Candidate from FAMU College of Pharmacy, brings us the results of a very large study on the effects of statins on type 1 patients. The results are likely not what you thought.
