https://www.linkedin.com/in/william-boben-354b5613/
As we approach the year milestone to the pandemic, reflecting on the challenges we've faced, the successes achieved, and the lessons learned throughout the process. High Associates Ltd. has certainly not been immune to adversity during these times. The team’s continued determination, resiliency and use of cross-functional cooperation across the entire High organization has allowed us the opportunity to adapt and use the pandemic to improve technologically, strengthen internal operations, and ultimately become better at serving our clients. We look forward to continued growth as a team and a safe return to the "new normal."

Jeff Kurtz, CCIM, Associate Broker: “The change in technology with electronic signatures bridged the gap of in-person business during this working-from-home time. These changes in electronic signatures will have lasting positive change and increased efficiency in how we do business moving forward.”

Ruth Devenney, CCIM, SIOR, Associate Broker: “A success that immediately comes to mind was leasing space to PowerPacks, which serves a great community need, during the shut down in early March. We were able to utilize technology to price their buildout, negotiate lease terms, and finalize their lease while all parties were working from home.”

Annette Means, Associate Broker “While some may have felt more disconnected because of the pandemic, Zoom was able to connect me with my team members in Lancaster without a 50-minute drive. I was able to increase my connection with my team and do it efficiently.”

Bree Robinson, Realtor Associate & Marketing Coordinator: “I’ve found the importance of building relationships and staying connected to the greater business community has greatly increased during this time of being mainly remote. Leveraging virtual events and learning opportunities from groups like the C&I Council and the Lancaster Chamber is great way to do just that.”

Brian Davison, CCIM, SIOR Associate Broker: “While like everyone, I’ve adopted virtual communication platforms on a scale I never thought I would, I also went back to a proven tool that I may have neglected in the past – the phone. I’ve had great success simply calling on owners and decision makers for properties and connecting on a more personal level. It takes time and patience but can work in building long-lasting relationships.”

Michael Bowser, Realtor Associate: “Sharing my computer screen with owners and tenants via products like Zoom and Teams allow me to work real-time with them to draft letters of intent, prepare ad hoc analyses, and troubleshoot problems quickly. We are all on the same page at the same time, which is real time saver for everyone involved.”
