| Refresh Your LinkedIn Presence |
Summer is fast approaching - in fact, it's only one week away. But if you're anything like me, you may still have some "spring cleaning" to do. One of the things you may not think about when you're thinking about spring cleaning is your LinkedIn Profile. But I recommend that you take a look at your LinkedIn profile at least twice a year to make any necessary updates. I've been working on a series of videos on refreshing or spring cleaning your LinkedIn Profile, and one of those videos is featured in this newsletter. But if you want more LinkedIn tips, you can check out my LinkedIn Tips playlist on my YouTube Channel. Or perhaps this summer is a good time for you to pick up a copy of Make LinkedIn Work for You. Finally, I'd like to say Happy Father's Dayto all of the Dads out there! I'd love to get your comments on the videos, my columns, or ideas you have for future articles or newsletters. Let me know what you're thinking! Email me at Allison@LegalEaseConsulting.com. |

They say a picture paints a thousand words (and no one seems to read online any more anyway): - Update your Profile photo
- Add media to your Profile (or update what's already there)
- Add a banner image to your profile.

The column provides some suggestions on how to evaluate management skills for those who aspire to management positions and those who already hold them. I'm curious to know your thoughts. You can read the column here. |

Make LinkedIn Work for You | | My friend and colleague, Dennis Kennedy and I are proud to announce that our book, Make LinkedIn Work for You, A Practical Handbook for Lawyers and Other Legal Professionals is now available. The book is an adaptation of all of our previous work on LinkedIn, from webinars and presentations to articles and books. This book is different from what we've done before in that we published direct to Kindle first, and the book contains no screenshots. |
