| Attend a PLI on a Full Scholarship You must be registered for the conference to attend a PLI. The cost for each PLI is $125. Sponsors Northrop Grumman Foundation and Shell are offering several scholarships to encourage attendees to choose a PLI to enrich their conference experience. Full-time middle school (grades 6–8) teachers of science, technology, and engineering within a 100-mile radius are eligible for a full conference registration and a free PLI ticket. PLIs are focused, content-based programs that explore key topics in science and STEM education in depth. The presenters are experts in science and STEM education, professional learning, standards implementation, assessment, curriculum, and resource development. PLIs are offered in conjunction with the 2018 NSTA National Conference on Science Education in Atlanta, Georgia, and are preconference, full-day sessions.
All PLIs will take place on Wednesday, March 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PLIs will be held at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center, 100 CNN Center, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.
