During Europort Turkey a Hosted Buyer Programme will take place, coordinated by the Ministry of Economy and organised by the Istanbul Exporters' Association General Secretariat. The programme is organised to increase export, diversify products and to find new markets for products under the scope of overseas promotion activities. Specially buyers from Norway, Panama, Kenya, Iceland, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Quatar, Dubai, Denmark, Finland will come to Europort Turkey to meet with maritime & offshore equipment suppliers. On the occassion of Europort Turkey a Dutch trade mission is organised by Netherlands Maritime Technology (NMT) and the Dutch Embassy in Ankara.

Special about this mission is that it will be customised for participants as much as possible. During the mission a number of shipyards in Tuzla and surroundings will be visited. Additionally participants can indicate which kind of companies they prefer to meet, so one-on-one meetings can be arranged. The trade mission will take place on 3 and 4 April 2017. On Tuesday 5 April Europort Turkey’s official networking reception will take place. Exhibitors and special guests are invited to meet and network on board of the IDO Ferry boat.
