Kaya!

We are in Djeran, the season of adulthood. The weather is cooling and rainfall is on the way (we all hope!). Some of you may have noticed that the pine stumps on the corner of Hope Road and Progress Drive have been felled. This was a sad event, but the community's strong support for their removal shows that it is time to move on and bring the corridor to life. The pine logs have been left on site and their habitat value is clear, with fungi sprouting, lizards and invertebrates active and Djiti djitis foraging on them.

The Rehabilitating Roe 8 community survey is open until May 1. Please fill it in if you have a few minutes, it is much shorter than previous years. There is a $1,000 prize up for grabs if you are a member of a Friends group! Follow this link.

We have three events coming up soon: Forest Bathing, Corridor Yarning and the 2024 Community Planting Day. See the links below to register. We hope to see you at one of these!
