Annual aerial mapping complete, results are being compiled

Annual aerial vegetation mapping has been complete. Did anyone manage to get a glimpse of the drone flying above the corridor?

The specialised drone operator was able to get perfect weather conditions during January to capture high resolution imagery across the corridor. This will help provide valuable information about changes to vegetation cover, height and health. Monitoring is extremely important during revegetation, as it helps us understand how well areas are doing and which areas may need some TLC (tender, love and care). This will aid in area selection for planting events during the cooler months.

Stay tuned for updates once the images have been analysed by the experienced team.

Path Network Plan - Limestone Path in Malvolio Bushland
Works have begun!

Construction of the limestone walk path in Malvolio bushland in zone North Lake Road West began at the end of January and are still underway. Be mindful of workers in the area, they are City of Cockburn approved contractors.

The Path Network Plan has been developed in close collaboration with the community over the past year and will incorporate a system of well-defined paths, creating a link between Bibra Drive in the east and Southwell Crescent in the west.
