Hey Friends, Happy spring! We hope this finds you well. Our hearts are with our friends, families, and community all over the world right now as we all do our part to slow the spread of the Coronavirus. By practicing social distancing, working from home, and cooperating with instructions from our leaders, we hope we can help reduce some strain for our medical facilities. In the midst of all this, we're very grateful that recreating outside is still safe and a great way to beat cabin fever. If you're healthy, getting out into nature's clean air is an excellent way to get some exercise to boost your spirits and immune system. Hiking, walking, or going for a run solo or with your family is also a great way to embrace the extra downtime you may be having. If you do go out, just remember to give people plenty of space, wash your hands, and try not to touch anything you don't have to. Busy public parks are NOT a great option at this time. Trails and natural spaces further from city centers are more ideal. Check out this great OPB article that answers many of the questions we've been asking ourselves about whether it's safe or responsible to hike right now. On a lighter note - We've been busy refreshing our CleverHiker Gear Guides for 2020 by testing new-release products to see how they stack up against the competition. We're also creating exciting new content that will be released for your reading pleasure shorty.
As always, thanks for following along. Let us know on social media what you're doing to stay active and connected with nature during this strange and challenging time.
