As women, we are vessels by nature. We are conditioned to hold and contain the pain of others while bypassing our deeper truth. When others harm us, we are conditioned to believe it's somehow our fault. If there's no way to release those emotions and beliefs, we harm ourselves with substances such as food. While we look to diets and exercise to heal our food and body weight problems, those interventions will never be fully effective if we don't heal the emotions and beliefs that drive us to eat in ways that do not serve our highest good. Research widely shows that forgiveness and other benevolent states of mind significantly reduce the stress hormone cortisol. Cortisol activates the fight-or-flight response connected to food cravings and also triggers the inflammatory mechanisms that cause the body to hold on to excess weight. So when we forgive, we lose both emotional and physical pounds.

If you are ready to release the deeper pain that sabotages your experience of sane eating, I invite you to allow me to mentor you through this 21-day journey to lightness, physically and emotionally. By the end of our time together, you'll notice a remarkable shift in your perspective. What you once thought was an impossible task will be surprisingly within reach. Oh, and you'll also find yourself eating better and feeling better.

Emotional Freedom from Food

The 21 lessons in this course include audio recordings and essays on forgiveness-related topics as well as potent writing and contemplation exercises. The main tool you will use throughout this course is a powerful stress-release tool called Tapping (also known as Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT) that will re-pattern your neurology and make more room for acceptance and peace. Tapping is a gentle yet effective practice that reduces the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger stress. Tapping combines coaching techniques with acupressure in the form of light fingertip tapping on acupuncture points. The tapping acts as a circuit breaker on the electromagnetic signal of the stress and diffuses its emotional trigger.

Tapping can be extremely helpful in dealing with food-related issues, such as:
  • Emotional eating

  • Binges and cravings

  • Food allergies, sensitivities, and intolerances

  • Negative body-image

  • Undesirable food habits

  • Obsession over what and how to eat
Through this course you will:
  • Come to terms with the dissatisfaction and breakdown that are prompting you to heal your relationship with food

  • Gain a mentor and receive guidance for how to heal

  • Acquire skills for navigating through temptation, resistance, withdrawal, and relapse

  • Detox the guilt you've been carrying too long

  • Face and release the core beliefs that have shackled you to your food behaviors

  • Connect profoundly to unconditional self-love

  • Allow yourself to be seen as a transformed woman

  • Reclaim the beauty and power you were born with

  • Raise your vibration to bring into your life what you truly desire
"It's only when we alter our eating habits out of love and respect for ourselves that lasting change has any real chance to take root in our lives."
~ Katherine Woodward Thomas

What Students Say About This Course

"What a wonderful, exhausting, enlightening, and renewing program! I cannot express all the warmth and gratitude I feel for you, Marcella, and the energy and spirit I feel for my Heroine's journey!" ~ Audrey W., Longmont, CO

"I came to this material with great resistance and very low expectations. Much to my surprise, I was riveted, inspired, educated and enlightened at every step of the journey. I absolutely loved the breadth of material you so beautifully wove together - from the Heroine's Journey, to the Tapping techniques, the exercises and rituals, the attention to food issues and the gentle reminder that this is bigger than the food.... You said so many things that I have typed up and taped to the inside of my closet door to read each day. One of which was that we don't 'lose the weight but we let it go.' Thank you again for what was one of my favorite learning experiences ever. " ~ Jane M., Boston, MA

"I want to thank you from my heart for the work you have done and continue to do on your personal journey, Marcella. Anyone working in the world of healing arts can only take another person as far as they have been willing to go herself, and your willingness to do the things you have done and complete the work you have completed makes you the perfect Mentor for my journey." ~ Dianne C., Phoenix, AZ

"Since I've taken the course I've been settling nicely into my everyday life. Already I am making better food choices and not feeling a burning desire to always get up for seconds. My food cravings haven't been as frequent or strong. I have new tools that help me to listen to my higher self and stay true to my lifestyle and food goals. I developed key understandings about what drives my motivation and about the deeper parts of myself. Marcella helps one discover the root of the addiction (which isn't really about the food). She helps guide women to awaken in a way that is patient, kind and loving to oneself. I've been following the Tapping outlines she gave us and have been choosing to love and accept myself through all life's challenges and beauties. " ~ Samantha S, Fort Collins, CO
